KITTY DAISY & LEWIS AT PROUD CAMDEN ON WEDNESDAY 2ND SEPTEMBER

“Have you heard of Kitty, Daisy & Lewis?  They're fucking amazing!"  Coldplay’s Chris Martin

Kitty Daisy & Lewis return to the UK triumphant, having wowed North America while supporting Coldplay on their 17-date Amphitheatre Tour, for a homecoming gig at Proud Camden in London on Wednesday 2nd September.

Hand-selected by Coldplay’s Chris Martin after he saw the band perform last year, the tour saw them performing at 40,000 capacity venues across the States and Canada, winning new fans every step of the way.

Kitty, Daisy & Lewis are three young 50’s music, fashion and technology obsessed siblings who have built a massive word of mouth audience through a stream of rapturously received gigs and festival appearances and via their debut self-titled long player, released on Sunday Best Recordings in July 2008.

"A gift to those of us that still believe in magic" Observer Music Monthly
"A wonderful album: passionate, exuberant and fun" The Guardian

This show will be Kitty Daisy & Lewis’ first live UK performance upon their return and they will be joined on the night by a live performance from Sunday Best label mates Lucky Elephant, whose debut album Starsign Trampoline is also riding high with some spectacular reviews of late.

"Perfect summer festival fare" Q Magazine
"A celestial debut, brooding with integrity and creativity" 8/10 NME
“Sun-kissed bitter sweetness” Uncut
“A lovely slightly off-kilter sense of melody” Sunday Times Culture

The Correspondents came along to Sunday Best's first Proud party and rocked (& swinged) the joint so they're back again, and Sunday Best label boss, Bestival curator and BBC Radio One DJ Rob da Bank and his compadres the Sombrero Sound System will also be in attendance to spin a choice selection of tunes.

  1. Just looked you guys up after hearing you on the radio... I thought I was listening to something from the 50s (I love old music) and thought, damn why don't they make music like this anymore?!

Well you do and it's great, keep it up guys, you've just coloured my view of the world a little. Love the idea of recording with vintage gear too, I have the same idea but with movies. Like I would love to make movies with all the stuff they made black and white movies with, how awesome would that be?

    cheers :D

  2. I listen to your album non stop and talk about you all the time to my friends. Now my greatest wish is to see you perform live! Have you any plans on coming anywhere near Copenhagen, Denmark? I really hope so!

    Best wishes for your career,
